Kids and teens, ages 3 to 17

Real martial arts, taught somewhere they actually want to be

Classes for ages 3 to 17, split properly by age, taught by coaches who know how to teach kids and not just adults. Kids classes run at our new home at Ocean Keys in Clarkson from Monday 31 August.

What we teach

Real disciplines, taught properly

We are not a watered down "kids karate" franchise. Your child learns the same real martial arts the adults train, scaled and taught for their age.

  • Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu. Gi and No-Gi grappling, from the very basics through to competition pathways.
  • MMA. The fundamentals of mixed martial arts in a safe, structured, fun environment.
  • Striking. Boxing, kickboxing and Muay Thai basics, taught with control.

It is technical, it is fun, and it is taught by coaches who actually compete and know how to break it down for a six year old or a fifteen year old.

Beyond the mats

More than just technique

Kids come for the fun. What they take home is bigger than that.

Confidence that carries over

Learning to handle hard things on the mats shows up everywhere else, at school, with friends, in how they carry themselves.

Focus and discipline

Structured classes, clear expectations, and the patience to learn something properly.

A crew, not a crowd

Kids make genuine friends here, and so do the parents on the sidelines.

Coaching that knows kids

Multiple coaches in every class, so no child gets lost in the room.

Ages and pricing

Find the right class for your child

Classes are split by age so the little ones are looked after and the older kids are genuinely challenged.

  • Your first class is free. Come try it before you commit to anything. No gear needed, just comfortable clothes and a water bottle.
Common questions

What parents ask us

My child has never done martial arts. Is that ok?

Completely. Most kids start with zero experience. Classes are taught from the ground up and coaches scale everything to the child in front of them.

Is it safe?

Yes. Classes are age appropriate, supervised by multiple coaches, and built around control and technique, not getting hurt. Safety is the baseline, not an afterthought.

Will it make my child aggressive?

The opposite, in our experience. Kids who train tend to be calmer and more confident, because they have a healthy outlet and nothing to prove.

What does my child need to bring?

For the first class, just comfortable clothes and water. We will sort the rest once they are signed up.

How do I get started?
